Classical guitarist, Richard Haslam, makes a welcome return visit to St Peter’s to perform the popular Variations on a Theme of Handel, by Giuliani, together with works by Sir William Walton, Francisco Tarrega, Gary Ryan and Sergio Assad.
Richard is a Derbyshire-born classical guitarist and guitar teacher based in Bury, Manchester. He completed a post-graduate degree in music performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, under the tutelage of Australian guitarist Craig Ogden in 2017, having previously earned a BA (Hons) in music from the University of Hull in 2013.
Admission is £7 on the door (U18s free) which includes refreshments served from 10.30am. Free parking in the school yard on Rawcliffe Street BB11 2DL and disabled parking in the church grounds.
