Burnley’s Vintage & Performance Car Show Returns This September

Burnley’s much-loved Vintage & Performance Car Show is set to return on Saturday 12 September 2026, bringing a spectacular display of classic, vintage and high-performance vehicles to the town.

Taking place from 11am to 4pm, St James’s Street and Curzon Street will be transformed into a showcase of incredible vehicles for motoring enthusiasts, with dozens of cars and motorcycles on display alongside a packed programme of free family entertainment.

Families can enjoy meeting the incredible Cheshire Transformers, including Optimus Prime alongside walkabout favourites Bumblebee and White Knight. The main event hub on St James’s Street will also feature free face painting throughout the day, while visitors can put their skills to the test with free crazy golf on Curzon Street.

Hosted by Radio Burnley, the event will bring a lively atmosphere to the town throughout the day, making it one of the highlights of Burnley’s annual events calendar.

Organised by Burnley Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with The Rotary Club of Burnley the event celebrates the very best in motoring while encouraging visitors to explore Burnley’s fantastic mix of independent businesses, shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Owners of vintage, classic and performance vehicles, including motorcycles, are still invited to be part of the event. Vehicle registration remains open with anyone wishing to exhibit encouraged to register as soon as possible ahead of the event.
