Burnley town centre is set to score big with Clarets fans this weekend as Burnley Football Club hosts a special fan activation on St James’s Street on Saturday 18 April, from 10am to 2pm.

Located near McDonald’s, the event marks the Club’s first official presence in Burnley town centre in five years, giving supporters a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Clarets right in the heart of the community.

Fans can look forward to a lively and interactive experience, with a Burnley FC trailer serving as the hub for a range of activities throughout the day. Visitors will be able to enjoy competitions, exclusive giveaways and the chance to purchase official club merchandise.

Club mascot Bertie Bee will be making a special appearance, bringing plenty of family-friendly fun, while also taking part in a unique moment as part of Premier League Mornings. Bertie is set to FaceTime former Claret George Boyd, who will be out in Tampa, Florida, giving fans in Burnley the chance to connect with supporters across the pond.

Jason Cothliff, Project Manager at Burnley BID, said: “It’s fantastic to see Burnley FC back in the town centre. Events like this bring a real buzz to Burnley, giving fans a chance to engage with the Club while supporting local businesses. We’re delighted to be working alongside the Club to create opportunities that encourage more people to spend time here and enjoy everything Burnley has to offer.”
