Owners of vintage and performance vehicles are being invited to take centre stage as entries officially open for the return of the Burnley Vintage & Performance Car Show this September.

Taking place on Saturday 12th September 2026, the event will once again drive excitement into the heart of Burnley, transforming the town into a showcase of automotive history and high performance. Running from 11am – 4pm, the show will feature dozens of vintage, classic and performance vehicles displayed along St James’s Street and Curzon Street – from iconic classics to modern showstoppers.

Vehicle owners with vintage and performance vehicles, including motorbikes, are encouraged to register early for the chance to exhibit at this highly anticipated event.

Organised by Burnley BID, with support from The Rotary Club of Burnley, the 2026 event is set to be the biggest yet, bringing together enthusiasts, collectors and visitors for a day of celebrating automotive style and engineering.

Alongside a dazzling display of automobiles, visitors can also enjoy a variety of entertainment, including an exciting free trail for families, live performances and surprise walkabout acts to keep the energy high throughout the day.

Jason Cothliff, BID Programme Manager, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing the Vintage and Performance Car Show back for its fifth year in Burnley. The event has grown year on year and become a real highlight in the town centre calendar.

“We’re now inviting vintage and performance vehicle owners to register and be part of what promises to be a fantastic showcase. It’s a brilliant opportunity for enthusiasts to display their vehicles, connect with fellow owners and be part of a vibrant event that attracts thousands of visitors to the town.”
