WHAT
Creative Spaces Burnley’s first exhibition at OneTwoThree, a group show featuring new
contemporary art made by members and associates.
ABOUT
Taking inspiration from the rich history of banners and manifestos, the exhibition is a response to the power of ‘the statement’ both big and small
Whether political, ambitious, public assertions or private, scribbled down commitments – there is real power and energy for challenging a status quo when declarations of intent are expressed and made visible.
As well as a call to action, the show is also a call to explore ideas, engage with differences and connections. Agree // Disagree is an invitation to find some of the common ground and threads that bind us and to stimulate the conversations that grow and change us.
