Theatre Creatives (11-14)

Develop the next level of acting skills with Theatre Creatives – an engaging workshop which teaches young people various techniques relating to character, voice and movement.

Through acting exercises participants will gain the confidence and skills to try out new styles of theatre

When: Every Monday 7-8:30pm OR Thursday 6:30-8pm

Who: School years 7-9 (age 11-14)

 

Young Actors (14-18)

Participants grow into confident young performers who share an in-depth understanding of performance skills, knowledge on different styles of theatre and the ability to create work as a team. This is achieved through activities which focus on character development, script work, movement, devising and improvisation.

When: Every Thursday 8-9:30pm

Who: School years 10-13 (age 14-18)

 

FREE Workshop- Young Archivists (11-18)

To celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2023, we are delivering a year-long creative programme called ‘Reflections and Revelations: Our People, Our Place and Our Future’.  Join the Young Archivists and help guide our 50th year! Activities include Street Theatre Training, Gallery Curation, Podcasting and lots more!

When: Every Wednesday 6-7pm

After the Rain (11-18)

A welcoming and open space for anybody who is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans or Questioning and those who believe in equality and want to bring about change for the LGBTQ+ community.

After the Rain explores and celebrates LGBTQ+ culture through the arts – developing projects and movements which celebrate and increase visibility of the North West’s LGBTQ+ Community.

When: Every Thursday 6-7pm

Who: School years 7-13 (age 11-18)

 

Inside the Industry (11-18)

A welcoming and open space for anybody who is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans or Questioning and those who believe in equality and want to bring about change for the LGBTQ+ community.

Backstage Pass (11-18)

Whether you are interested in scenery, lighting, props, costume or sound there is a role for all in our backstage pass workshops!

Weekly sessions give young people the practical experience and training to help them develop their skills and confidence across all areas of technical theatre resulting in all participants gaining a unique opportunity to enjoy work experience as part of our in-house Christmas Production – Peter Pan. 

When: Every Wednesday 7-9pm

Who: School years 7-13 (age 11-18)

 

£37.50 for a 10 week block (only £3.75 per workshop!)
