Come along and celebrate all things Burnley in this exhibition from The Caravan Gallery, exploring local identity and showcasing the creativity of Burnley’s inhabitants.
Starting in August 2023 artists and photographers Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale have been documenting the weird and the wonderful of Burnley and inviting local people to contribute towards the exhibition. With contributions from local artists, photographers, poets, school children, local heritage groups, archives and more, the exhibition is a truly unique representation of the borough – but it’s not finished until the very end!
We want as many people as possible to get involved in sharing their stories and artworks, as well as adding fascinating facts to “The People’s Map of Burnley”. If you would like to contribute something towards the exhibition, or are just curious about what’s there – pop along and speak to us at the hub (under the main market Hall stairs) Tuesdays to Saturdays.
