With tickets available until January 19th, come along for a show packed with comedy, great music, stunning scenery, heroes & villains and more. 
  • Five Go Mad (January 31): For those looking for a night on the town, The Inn on the Wharf host a variety of mic nights, including a performance from Five Go Mad on January 31st from 9pm, where they will be playing the best pop, rock & indie covers. 

February: Music and Knowledge at Burnley Mechanics Theatre

  • Artisan Market (February 1): Returning on February 1st for the first market of the year, discover delicious street food and local produce at Burnley’s Artisan Market on St James’s Street, open the first Saturday of every month from 10am – 4pm including March 1st & April 5th
  • The Great Chamber Sing-Off (February 7): Experience an evening of harmonious competition at Burnley Mechanics Theatre, where top business leaders and employees from across East Lancashire swap boardrooms and offices for the Burnley Mechanics stage and belt out their favourite tunes—all for charity!
  • Streisand (February 8): Fans of Barbra Streisand won’t want to miss this tribute performance, celebrating the iconic singer’s timeless hits. 
  • Indoor Car Boot Sale (February 8th): Come and browse and grab a bargain at Burnley’s Indoor Car Boot Sale in Burnley Market. Additional dates include March 8th and April 12th. Open from 9am – 5pm. 
  • Ministry of Science Live (February 18): A spectacular show for the curious minds, blending education with explosive experiments—ideal for inspiring young scientists!
  • An Evening with Sir Geoff Hurst (February 20): Football enthusiasts can enjoy an intimate evening with the legendary World Cup hero, sharing stories from his illustrious career. 

March: Spring with Laughter with Burnley Mechanics Theatre

  • Clinton Baptiste: Roller Ghoster! (March 1): Prepare for a night of comedy and clairvoyance with the hilarious Clinton Baptiste at Burnley Mechanics Theatre. Solo again, Britain’s most celebrated clairvoyant medium psychic from Peter Kay’s ‘Phoenix Nights’ returns with his brand new hilarious one-man stand up show. 
  • St Patrick’s Day (March 17): Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Burnley by exploring its vibrant pub scene, where establishments like The Swan and The Coal Yard offer a lively atmosphere with live music and a wide selection of beers and ciders.
  • Shabaz Ali (March 19): Join Shabaz Ali as he takes to the stage in his debut live comedy tour. Jam packed with his roaring, on point and hugely requested observations of the mindboggling lengths that are taken to present a ‘perfect’ life online.
  • Snow White (March 21): Mark your calendars for March 21st and plan a memorable family day out to watch “Snow White” at REEL Cinema Burnley. Immerse yourselves in this enchanting story that has captivated generations, now brought to life with stunning visuals and performances.
  • Chris McCausland: Yonks! (March 31 – April 1): Chris McCausland is hitting the road again with another masterclass in stand-up comedy that has literally been, yonks in the making! 

April: Easter Adventures

  • Easter Trails: April brings Easter celebrations and plenty of family-friendly activities. Head to Thompson Park for egg hunts, boating on the lake, and a ride on the miniature railway. 
  • Easter at Queen Street Mill Textile Museum: Queen Street Mill Textile Museum hosts a variety of family activities during the Easter break, from fun crafts and staff demonstrations to the Mill Mouse Easter trail.
