Burnley Town Centre is set to transform into a spine-tingling hub of Halloween fun this October, offering a cauldron full of eerie-sistable events for families, friends and fright seekers of all ages! 

Taking place from Monday 21st – Thursday 31st October, the town will come alive with a line-up packed with spooky activities, ready to raise spirits and stir creativity. 

Kicking off the festivities, little monsters can keep busy this half-term with FREE Halloween-inspired crafting sessions at Burnley Market. Taking place from Monday 21st – Friday 25th October from 11am – 3pm daily, families can drop-in and create magical masterpieces. From crafting spellbinding wands, quills and potions to dragon eggs and owl wings, each session is packed with imaginative fun.

Perfect for children and those young at heart, shoppers can expect exclusive workshops with Charter Walk Shopping Centre, including a glow-up on Wednesday 23rd October at a FREE Lantern Making Workshop from 12pm – 4pm and a FREE Pumpkin Carving Workshop on Friday 25th October from 11am – 4pm. Both workshops are set to take place outside Superdrug. 

For those who feel a little more daring this Halloween, grab a trail map from Burnley Market and embark on Discover Burnley’s Spooky Trail! Available from Monday 21st October – Saturday 26th October, visitors can follow the eerie clues scattered throughout the town centre for a haunting adventure, promising frightful fun for all ages. 

Burnley Central Library is also taking part in the frightful celebrations with an exclusive Fright Night on Thursday 31st October. Featuring terrifying tales, spooky games, and ghostly goings-on from 5pm – 7pm, tickets are free and available to book and reserve online now: Lancashire Events.

Unmissable Night-time Haunts

Taking the celebrations from day to night, night owls can get involved in the Halloween festivities with an array of exciting parties across the town. Hidden will be presenting Beyond The Grave Part II on Saturday 26th October from 7pm – 4am, where monster mashers can dance until dawn at this eerie party, with bone-chilling beats to keep you going all night long.

Also, taking place on Saturday 26th October, Big Window is throwing a Haunted House Party, with live music starting from 7pm and DJ Marc Bateman spinning spooky tracks. Make sure to come along in devilish attire, as the best-dressed partygoer will win a £50 bar tab!

Closing the Halloween season with a bang, Bees Knees’ will be hosting a Thirsty Thursday Halloween Special on Thursday 31st October from 10pm – 3am. DJ Danny Mac will be spinning a killer mix, making it the perfect way to end the October fun on a spooky high.
