Gawthorpe Hall

Historic Gawthorpe Hall offers an intriguing day out. Learn something new while exploring the house and grounds, and don’t miss the Textile Collection which features unique and intricate items.

Seasonal events happen regularly too, especially during school holidays, with trails and workshops guaranteeing fun.

Singing Ringing Tree

Located on Crown Point, it is worth seeing the Singing Ringing Tree for two main reasons.

One, it creates a unique sound that you have to hear to believe. And two, from the sculpture you get the most incredible panoramic views of the Lancashire countryside and beyond.

Queen Street Mill Textile Museum

Step back in time at Queen Street Mill Textile Museum and get a taste of Burnley’s history.

At this Grade I listed building, visitors can see the mighty steam engine, learn about weaving and imagine what life as a mill worker would have been like.
