See inside the Burnley Empire for the first time since 1995. Visitors will be able to see inside the auditorium and meet with the people behind the restoration work.
The Burnley Empire has been closed since the late 90s and members of the public will have a rare opportunity to see inside Burnley and Lancashire’s last surviving Music Hall theatre of its kind.
Whilst visiting the historic gem visitors will learn about the significance of the building, its current condition and its restoration.
We will be celebrating this year’s Heritage Open Day theme, Creativity Unwrapped by sharing the Empire’s colourful history from architecture to performers!
