The Swan

Welcome to The Swan, a community pub that welcomes all based in the heart of Burnley town centre!

Dating from the early 1800’s, The Swan is one of Burnley’s oldest drinking venues. In its previous years the pub was once Burnley’s town jail, and the old cells can still be seen in our men’s toilets!

Here at The Swan we’ve got a great selection of cask ales, lagers, wines, and spirits to suit a variety of tastes. We show regular TV sport, karaoke nights and DJs. Located in Burnley town centre, we are just a short 10-minute walk to Turf Moor, making us the perfect location for some pre-match drinks.

So, whether you are popping in for a pre-match pint with friends or for a dance with our resident DJs on a Saturday night, we look forward to welcoming you to The Swan.
