Burnley Leisure & Culture is a registered charity employing a team of more than 100 friendly, fully qualified staff. We’re supported by a board of trustees who are drawn from the local community and share our passion for sport and culture in Burnley. Our vision is simple – to make a real difference to the communities we serve.
The centre is located in the heart of Burnley and our facilities offer ample opportunity for leisure and activity to all populations. Within our facilities you will find a large 25-metre pool, as well as a training pool accompanied by a health suite with a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, and brand-new fitted showers.
We are continuously striving to improve our facilities, such as with our newly refurbished gym, which was completed in 2024, and our brand-new indoor cycling studio which was completed in 2023. Our building also includes a toning table gym, two sports halls with the capabilities to support a range of activities and sports such as badminton, table tennis, basketball, and football.
On our upper floor you will find two of our squash courts with their own seating area, as well as our fully kitted studio where you can experience our fitness classes from both Les Mills and the HIIT Company.
We also offer Health & Wellbeing services, including for those who are looking to get into, or return to, fitness through an exercise referral programme.
