THURSDAY 2ND APRIL
The fun continues Thursday 2nd April from 10am – 2pm with Burnley in Bloom: Bonnets and Baskets, hosted by Burnley Together at Down Town. Expect a lively mix of arts, crafts and games that’s ideal for children of all ages who love getting stuck in – it’s free to take part too!

SATURDAY 4TH APRIL
Head into Charter Walk over Easter weekend for an Easter Extravaganza! Hosted by TEAM RISE Project East Lancashire, families can expect a visit from the Easter Bunny, homemade cakes and appearances from the Imperial Alliance Storm Troopers.

SUNDAY 5TH APRIL
For an Easter Sunday like no other, head to Gawthorpe Hall for outdoor exploring and take part in the Easter Bunny Trail. The Hall’s pet bunnies have escaped into the gardens, and it’s up to you to find them! Pick up a trail map, explore the grounds and claim a chocolatey prize at the end (while stocks last).

TUESDAY 7th – THURSDAY 9TH APRIL
To help keep the kids active during the school break, there’s a brand new Football Activity Camp with Burnley FC, offering the best ways for children aged 5 – 8 to exercise, learn new skills and have fun with friends. Participants can expect small-sided games, mini tournaments, behind-the-scenes ground tours, football skills development and medals & awards.

FRIDAY 10th APRIL
Rounding off the holidays on Friday 10th April, don’t miss Mother Goose at Burnley Mechanics Theatre. Starring the legendary Basil Brush, this colourful Easter pantomime is packed with laughs, dazzling sets and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Alongside these events, there’s even more to enjoy throughout Spring Half Term.
