Bring family and friends to enjoy activities for all ages, watch the Magical Lantern Parade and join the countdown as Burnley’s Christmas lights illuminate the town.

Local talent takes centre stage

Enjoy live performances from local music acts, dance schools, choirs and more as we celebrate the talent and creativity on our doorstep. With activities throughout the day, there’s plenty to keep the whole family smiling.

Follow the Magical Lantern Parade

At around 4pm, the streets will come alive with the Magical Lantern Parade, bringing a colourful glow to the town as daylight fades.

Join the Christmas lights countdown

Gather for the Christmas lights switch-on at around 5pm, when we’ll count down together before the lights shine and snow cannons add an extra flurry of festive magic.
