
The 120 voices of Burnley Municipal Choir are ‘live’ at The Mechanics Theatre this Autumn.
Rossini’s choral masterpiece is neither small in scale nor “solemn” It’s a lively, entertaining confection that he described as “the greatest sin of my old age”. It will be preceded by a selection of well-known popular Italian favourites.
Burnley Municipal Choir are a friendly choir, founded in 1920, and aims to encourage and support personal creativity through the shared experience of singing choral music and to contribute to and enrich wider community life through public performance.
