SUMMARY:The Haunting of Widow’s Leap Farm
DESCRIPTION:A Tale from Paradise Heights\n\nA stand alone sequel to the awa
rd winning The Haunting of Blaine Manor\n\nWritten &amp\; Directed by Joe
O'Byrne\n\nSomething killed Leanne Tully. An ancient evil as old as the cl
iffs\; it’s in the air\, the sea\, the soil. Leanne is back\, and the De
vil is loose in Paradise Heights.\n\nParadise Heights is a sea side town w
here superstition clings like salt to the skin. When Leanne Tully is found
broken at the base of the Widow’s Leap cliffs\, the community offers a
swift conclusion: another troubled soul gone to the sea. But Pearl Tully
 — the sharp-eyed medium (last seen in The Bench: A Tale from Paradise He
ights) knows better. Her daughter didn’t jump. She was murdered.\n\nWith
the police having buried the case as a suicide\, Pearl seeks an unlikely
ally: Phil Mackey\, a disgraced and half-broken former detective (last see
n in Diane’s Deli: A Tale from Paradise Heights) now holed up in a rust
ing caravan on Widow’s Leap Farm overlooking the very cliffs where Leann
e died.\n\nWhat begins as a reluctant favour becomes a descent into a nigh
tmare. Mackey uncovers whispers linking Leanne’s death to several unexpl
ained\, grotesque incidents in the town — deaths that make no earthly se
nse.\n\nLeanne had been courting forces far beyond the comfort of her moth
er’s occult practices. Obsessed with witchcraft and Paradise Heights’
bloody history\, she was drawn to a lonely field on the farm atop Widow’
s Leap — the same place sixteenth-century witches were hurled screaming
to their deaths.\n\nLeanne’s final legacy: a series of audio tapes in wh
ich she claims to commune with a witch from that age\, Fleur Manderlay. Bu
t something else is on the tapes\, something dark\, malevolent\, haunting
 her.\n\nAs Mackey listens\, investigates\, and unravels\, one truth become
s harder to deny: something ancient has awakened. And beneath the storm-la
shed cliffs of Paradise Heights\, the Devil may be walking again. And a da
rk figure with an iron grip on the town\, crime kingpin Frank Morgan\, is
warning him as a friend to stay away from the case as he is convinced anci
ent supernatural forces are at work.\n\nFeaturing characters from the crit
 ically acclaimed Tales from Paradise Heights series of plays.\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\nAge Guidance - 16+ (some adult language and content)\n\nTickets: £22
