 00s\, and experience what life was like for mill workers in Lancashire's i
 conic weaving mill\, Queen Street Mill. With authentically dressed and exp
 ert staff on hand\, you can explore the mill as it was in its hey day. Wat
 ch weaving demonstrations on original looms that are over 120 years old\, 
 speak to our expert engine and machinery technicians and learn about the i
 nnovations of weaving from hand weaving to powered looms!Normally by guide
 d tour only\, this Heritage Open Day we're offering the opportunity to exp
 lore the mill free of charge and at your own pace\, experiencing the mill 
 as the workers would have in years gone by. If you choose to go on a guide
 d tour\, led by our knowledgeable guides\, you can enjoy these for free.\n
