DESCRIPTION: \nThe Love Your Liver roadshow events is in Burnley on Saturd
 ay 10th February 2024 at on Town Square\, St James Street.  \nLove Your 
 Liver tour different locations across the country giving people the opport
 unity to take their liver health screener. The screener assesses the poten
 tial for liver damage. At-risk individuals are then offered the opportunit
 y of a non-invasive ultrasound (called a FibroScan) check\, and if the sca
 n gives an indication of liver damage\, then the individual is advised to 
 visit their GP for further advice.\nLove Your Liver work in conjunction w
 ith clinicians from the local hospital at each location – these healthca
 re professionals carry out the FibroScan.\nMany of the people they meet at
  the events are unaware of the causes of liver disease\, and so the educat
 ional aspect of the roadshow is very much aimed at enabling people to make
  changes to their lifestyle and hopefully improving their liver health.
